Dear fellow Nishtarians
I am honored and humbled to serve you as president of Nishtar Alumni for 2013.
Nishtar Alumni has several tangible achievements including construction of pediatric and ICU wards in Nishtar hospital. Structured ACLS classes,donated Simulation lab.Our scholarship program, 25-30 per year,is very successful program and will increase in number in future.
We are supporting our young physicians, who come in US for interviews,by renting apartment in Detroit,MI. We are very fortunate to have our own 501c3 program to collect donation directly under Alumni .Our website has shown significant improvement and quite dynamic now.
Our main goal for this year will be to increase the membership as much as possible and give financial stability to Alma matter.Our executive committee is committed and eager to work .We have structured and formed several committees and members are experienced and dedicated.
I believe in team work and together we will strive to take the Alumni to a next level.
